A Masterpiece

This post is dedicated to Sachin's inning against Aussi in Hybad where he scored 175 but failed by an inch to take India to victory........I am sorry for posting it so late though I drafted it the very next day of the match....

Hats off to the Maestro…for an inning that was full ofBlitzkrieg…given another chance he wud have gone scoring 17000 more runs in the same innings…Reminded me the match where SA outlasted Aussies scoring 438 runs…Gibbs scored 175 in that match…had it been the SA team with Sachin( means Sachin + remaining 10 SA players) we would have registered an convincing victory over Aussis may be with 5 over to go and 4 wickets to spare…..I am feeling jealous of all those Hydrabadis who witnessed this veteran player playing his best ever knock…Way back in 2001 after my 10th….I went to Indore for Ind vs.Aus Match…In that match..Sachin scored 139 and completed his 10000runs in ODI…At that time I thot nothing can be better this…But Sachin left no stone unturned to prove me wrong…and believe me no one wouldbe happier than me that he did it in this style.

This match was the actual test of everyone’s caliber…. first… fiftytired over on ground...Don’t forget Aussi scored 350…hitting the ballto every possible corner of ground and then chasing that with equalzeal…The man was standing at the crease like the Rock of Gibraltar where as his counter parts were falling like a pack of cards… U musthave seen some fabulous innings from other Indians… Yuvi’selegance…Dhoni’s Bombarding…Viru’s Drive…Gambhir’s temperament… He eclipsed them all…I wish it could have been his day...I wish it could have been India’s day…but I cannot speak beyond would or could…in fact no one can.

But full credit to Aussi team for keeping their nerves till theend…and believing more on Indians than on themselves…Look at the side…India…playing with their best 11 and Aussie 5 players are already ontheir way towards home…And Ponting’s fielding…mind blowing…had it been his day on the field…god knows the difference with which we wud have lost the match…It was just another bad day at office forIndians.

I cannot forget the felicitation ceremony where the Legend cud hardlystop the tears coming out of his eyes…. and accepted the fact that Win or Lose a part of GAME.

As it is rightly said….”Commit all your crimes while Sachin is batting….and you won’t be punished…Coz even God wud have gone to watch him bat….”
